I heard this song last Wednesday AM as I dressed my youngest son, and as I tried to tamp down the stress I was feeling over some financial situations. I was speaking the Word to myself and admonishing myself to give everything over to Jesus when this song came on the radio.
I Trust You.
If I'm completely honest, I trust God in many areas of my life. Yet, I'm continually striving toward a deeper level of trust in Him.
Do you trust God? Really trust Him? For everything? 100%?
Peace & Blessings,
Patricia

I've learned to trust God so much more since I got laid off from my job and decided not to go back to work. When I was working, no one could have EVER convinced me that we could maintain the same lifestyle without a second salary. You see, I'd been relying on the money I was making rather than God.
Since I stopped working, we've gotten me a car (1994, but running); buy weekly groceries for one daughter who's going through right now; redid the living room, put down ceramic tile in foyer and downstairs bathroom, installed laminate wood floor in the family room; bought a Sony Dream System so we can watch movies in surround sound, and a DVR for the master bedroom so I can record stuff. None of this stuff was financed or charged. God is so good! Tithing and trust Him works!
Wow, what an awesome song and so very timely to hear it today. My heart broke as I listened to it and prayed. One of the ones who is no longer at our company, doesn't know the Lord (at all) doesn't want to know him (at all) and so tonight, I sat here and thought who is she clinging to today. Where is her hope and where can she run.
We all have times that are hard, but having the Lord as my strong tower, the rock on which I lean and trust is what allows me to make it through the tough times.
I know you may not know her, but please pray for MB, although you know there were others, my heart is breaking for her tonight.
Vicki, Friday was rough for us, wasn't it? But I remembered this week's song and played it again while watching the fear and uncertainty cloud other's faces.
I will pray for MB, and for all those who were laid off last week, just days before the holidays. Let them see Him and turn to Him, in the midst of tough times.
