Midweek Worship: What is This?

I usually have these up way in advance but I realized, as I showered this morning, that I hadn't scheduled a worship song.

Whenever I need some quick, get deep yet pick me up kind of gospel, I'm going to my all-time favorites, The Love Center Choir.

This is Bishop Walter Hawkins and The Love Center Choir performing "What is This?"

Gives me goosebumps.

Peace & Blessings,
Patricia

Girl, you are truly my sister from another mother! I got saved in 1982 when the Hawkin clan was the First Family of Gospel. Tramaine will always be my favorite female gospel singer. Now they call her "Mother Tramaine." That seems to weird to me, but time does fly.

Funny how at the time I thought Walter's hair looked good ...

Me again.

I forgot to leave this link to the video for "Marvelous." Walter looked better than ever at their 25th Anniversary.

LOL! Everybody thought Walter's hair looked good back in the day. Including Walter! How times change.

Marvelous is one of my favorites. In truth, the Hawkins family and the Love Center Choir (and if you're a real fan, you know those two are not one and the same) do not have any songs I don't like. Saw them live a couple of years ago and they blew me away. Darn near took the roof off the building, singing like they were 20 years old or something.
